Winter 2025 Residency at Hauser & Wirth Somerset

I had the honor of being the artist-in-residence at Hauser & Wirth Somerset during November and December 2025. It was been a dream come true to get to work in the legendary Maltings studio, where I designed new tableware, built large tulipières, and tested new styles of ceramic surface decoration. I also created two new series of paintings. Outside of the studio, I filled my time with misty walks through England’s pleasant pastures green, great, convivial meals, lots of baking, high-speed driving through the narrowest two-way roads known to humankind, and of course, being with the incredible group of people who are the soul of Hauser & Wirth Somerset. It was an amazing experience, all thanks to them, and to Manuela and Iwan Wirth.
